We are very gracious and appreciative for all of the support
and inquiries we are receiving for “Little girl”. We have been overwhelmed by phone calls and
emails about her; with dozens of people requesting to adopt her. While there is an active court case going on,
she is only under temporary guardianship of GHAC; WHEN and IF the judge grants
custody to GHAC, things will move forward with finding her a loving forever
home. We will save all adoption
applications submitted to GM HART, however we will not start reviewing them
until 1.) Custody is awarded to GHAC and 2.) She has had time to recover and is
healthy and adoptable.
While we would love to have the time and resources to reply
to each and every phone call and email we receive regarding Little girl;
unfortunately it is very difficult.
Currently, there are two people who are active in running the day-to-day
operations of GM HART; please keep in mind that we both have full-time jobs and
families, as well as other adoptable animals in our program and operational
needs to be tended to. All of our
animals are top-priority, and receive excellent care. We ask that you be patient and respectful
with us, as there is only so much we are able to do in a 24-hour day.
We will post updates and pictures as they are available to
our Facebook page and our website, www.gmhart.org. We kindly ask that before calling or emailing
in regards to Little girl, you check these two pages first. If there are any other questions, comments,
or concerns that we have not addressed, please email us at info@gmhart.org and we will get back to you
as quickly as possible.
If you email us an adoption application, and do not hear
back from us right away, please know that we HAVE saved it, and will review
everything once she will be ready for adoption.
If you would like to become an active volunteer and help us
with the daily running of GM HART, please contact sarah@gmhart.org to discuss volunteer
opportunities!
Again, we sincerely appreciate your support and concern for
the animals! It is awesome people like
you that allow us to do what we do!
