03/20/2014 - RUN FREE SWEET ANGEL

It is with a very heavy heart and great sadness that we must let everyone know that Little Girl crossed the bridge in her sleep.  She was receiving the best care possible, from a wonderful veterinary staff that went above and beyond to try and help her.  It seems that no matter how strong the will to fight is, sometimes the body simply cannot recover from such neglect.  We do not know what she endured in her lifetime, only the physical signs we were able to see, however she was greatly loved in her final time on this earth.  The tremendous support that was shown for Little Girl was truly amazing.  The mission of GM HART has always been to help the lost, neglected and abused animals of Garfield and Maple Heights, OH.  The loss of Little Girl makes us that much more motivated to do everything we can.

If you would like a refund of your donation, please let us know.

We would like to use the remaining donations towards fighting harder in the mission of GM HART; to do as much for these animals as possible, in honor of Little Girl, and all the others fighting the same battle.   When we are able, we would also like to put together a Memorial for Little Girl.

Thank you again for all of the compassion, well-wishes, thoughts, prayers and support for Little Girl. <3

  1. So where can there be a gathering to make sure that the idiot that did this spends the most time behind bars as possible??

  3. Your pain and suffering is over, sweet Little Girl, you are with God now. He'll take good care of you, always. At least you knew love by some caring people at the end. Godspeed Angel....fly free.

  4. When will this abuse stop? I grew up in Maple Hts. and do not recall any of this happening back then. Justice needs to be served, but I do not see that happening anytime soon. She won't do any time, which is sad. This person should NEVER have the opportunity to have any domestic animal again.

  5. How sad is that! This woman should get prison time for what she did! Lock her up and don't feed her see how it feels for a while. She shouldn't be allowed to ever have a animal again EVER!
